Lower Sepik drum New Guinea
Lower Sepik drum / Trommel New Guinea
The handle terminating in two ancestor faces with beak-like noses.
The pattern made by deeply incised lines runs like a band around the middle part, and, from there out to the rim on each side, run two wider, tongue-shaped areas extending almost to the ends of the drum.
An beiden Seiten des Handgriffs finden sich die typischen Ahnengesichter.
